1. Myongji Dormitory Introduction
The dormitory at Myongji University is a place where students develop lasting friendships and have many opportunities for involvement in student life. Dormitories for Korean and international students are designed to offer simulating and supportive collegiate experiences with academic and sincere care. Each resident is provided with his or her own bed, desk, chair and closet space.
The Myongji dormitories at MJU's Natural Sciences Campus consists of five state-of-the-art buildings including Myungduk-Gwan which can accommodate 1,900 undergraduate and graduate students. The buildings are equipped with study rooms, student cafeterias, stores, laundry facilities, fitness centers, recreation rooms, and lounges where students can freely engage in academic pursuits and enjoy their leisure time.
Myunghyun-Gwan is available exclusively to graduate students where each room has double occupancy and is equipped with beds, desks, chairs, and closets, and it is also accessible 24 hours a day. For male undergraduates, we offer Myungduk-Gwan (quadruple occupancy) and Sam-Dong (double and quadruple occupancy) dormitories whereas for female undergraduates, there are two dormitories, Oh-Dong (quadruple occupancy) and Sa-Dong (double occupancy) buildings. Unlike graduate dormitories, undergraduate dormitories close at midnight.
2. Dormitory Admission/Release, Holiday Recesses
The period of dormitory contract is for one academic semester. Students who apply online within the designated dormitory application period and successfully complete dormitory payment are qualified for residing in a dormitory. All dormitory residents may move out before the university vacation starts. On Korean holidays such as Lunar New Year's Day and Chus대k dormitories are officially closed, with the exception of international students.
3. Dormitory Rules
In order to keep dormitories a pleasant place, rules and guidelines are necessary for the personal quality of life of each resident. All residents are required to read and be familiar with the guidelines for Reward and Violation Penalty Points described below.
4. Some international students who cannot utilize the student cafeteria due to their religion or dietary tastes are allowed to have meals at a designated area only. Meal times are arranged according to the schedule below. Residents may be subject to expulsion if students do not eat in the cafeteria according to this schedule.

-Lunch 12:00~1:00pm
-Dinner 5:00~7:00pm
5. Dormitory Counseling Services
The chaplain's office provides constant support and encouragement for residents through counseling services.
6. Dormitory Worship
